Peter Bohrsmann - St. Ignatius, Riverview Australia
Alleged Sex Abuser
Peter Bohrsmann
(deceased)
1980 and other unknown years. St. Augustine's, Brookvale, Sydney.
1997 - 1997 St. Ignatius, Riverview
In 1997 a teacher at the school, Peter Bohrsmann took his own life on school grounds after a detailed complaint was made to police about him.
The 57-year-old classics teacher, himself a former pupil, was found dead in his car with the engine running close to the Jesuit school's boat shed.
His body was discovered two days after he had protested his innocence when confronted about the anonymous allegation.
A former Riverview student reports:
Errol Lea-Scarlett was a teacher at St Augustine's Brookvale at the same time as Peter Bohrsmann and they were both at Riverview later,
Lea-Scarlett from 1977 to 2000. The two of them authored a Book on Church music.
Lea- Scarlett was the organist at St Mary's Cathedral and at school,
while Peter Meyer was also the organist at St Philip's Anglican in the City and at Riverview before Lea-Scarlett.
would have known Lea-Scarlett through the Organ Society (no pun intended) and perhaps the three of them knew each other through their other interests in teaching boys.

They have been advised he was an alleged child sex abuser and have not removed the photo.
